Performing for vast crowds, corporate parties or private events, Anna Hulagan is a dynamic, exciting and charming showgirl, complete with character acts for walkabout and stage-shows alike.
Anna Hulagan (aka Anna the Hulagan; aka The Hulagan) has been a fixture on the UK cabaret scene since 2012. Performing with her hoops across the world, audiences have been whipped into a firey frenzy by the Hulagan! In her 6 year residency at the UKs legendary (and oldest) cabaret dining club, Cafe de Paris, the Hulagan crafted new acts for their shows. She and her flaming hula hoop flew through the air for the Seven Sins show; she became a neon Club Kid in The Service; and her Disco Pony was used for the venue’s Studio 54-themed show in honour of Bianca Jagger’s famous appearance at the NYC club in its heyday!
If you’re looking for a walkabout act that crowds love and want to take photos of, then the Hulagan is here! The Disco Pony is always a fun ride to have at a party (great for guest pics and she can provide ambient hula hooping too). There’s also the much-loved Headless Gentleman – a silent, but very important man of business!
dog days
‘Dog Days’ is the Hulagan’s most beloved act, and won the Triple Crown award at the World Burlesque Games in 2012.
With feathers around her hoop, she strips and sets her hoop on fire for act that compels standing ovations across theatres, festivals and events!
‘Disco Pony’, inspired by Bianca Jagger walking into Studio 54 on a white horse, is a playful and sexy ride, never failing to get a whinny of approval from even the most serious audience.
